Stereograms may be a useful tool when displaying complex 3D data, and the tool may be further enhanced by adding motion. The (very simple) movies in this distribution file show a rotating stellated polyhedron. Use a QuickTime viewer like the Simple Player. Set the "Loop" flag in the menu, and stare at the double image relaxing your eyes, so that at the end you see a 3D image of the stellated polyhedron (for further instructions on how to "see" stereograms, see one of the many popular books on stereograms in print now - the technique is the same used to view random dot stereograms). Then start the movie player and enjoy the 3D movie.
